For Middle & High School students enrolled at Al Ihsan School ONLY
Students will pick a book of their choice and make a trifold poster out of it. Detail is key.
There will be three winners selected from middle & high school!
Reading Fair boards will be sold at Al Ihsan School starting 02/09 for $2 each.
Make sure to bring exact change to purchase your board.
Due Dates:
February 1st: Announcing fair- Information packets given
February 7th: Last day for registration for the fair
February 1st - 28th: Working on project
March 1st (extended to march 4th): project submission day- 9:00am
March 7th: Setting up projects & displays
March 6-9: Judging
March 10th: winners announced
As a contestant, what will I be judged on?
INCLUDING ALL PRESENTATION BOARD PARTS:
- Title & author
make title bigger & bolder than other print
- publisher & publication date
- main characters
- plot summary
- setting
- conflict/solution (if applicable)
- genre
- authors purpose
neatness/organization
board display
optional/extras:
use a border *make your own or buy it
make a 3d scene from the story
